Blended with Japanese Sake Made from Rice. Our make-up remover has been blended with Japanese sake (fermented rice juice). On its own, rice has components that make your skin happy, but when you make it into sake, amino acids and minerals are increased. These components are a great match for Japanese people, who eat rice as a staple.

Ingredients that gladden skin even though they remove make-up. Blended with placenta extract and arbutin, plus other ingredients that make your skin happy, like Japanese sake (fermented rice juice) and amino acids (glutamine, arginine, and leucine).

Blended with Amino Acids Found in Japanese Sake. The amino acids found in Japanese sake are said to have a moisturizing effect. Though it is a make-up remover, it also has moisturizing amino acids, so you'll be able to feel the moisture, even after washing.

Washes Off Oil Only as Necessary. Make-up remover might actually be the cause of your dry skin. Japanese sake make-up remover properly removes your make-up while maintaining your skin's natural oil content.

About Manufacturing

Our company has continued making "Honryu Karakuchi" sake since our establishment over 350 years ago. We are particular about product quality, so we use the oldest surviving style of traditional sake mash starter, which takes more time and effort than usual. Through traditional methods, we make Japanese sake that enhances food, and we deliver it to all our customers.

In recent years, we have adapted technology cultivated for sake brewing, and begun producing and selling cosmetic products and health foods. Also, we have been proactive in new pursuits, including the presentation in March of 2016 of a new brand, "Hyakumoku."
